New Modern Home

This project is for an ambitious family home situated in a former quarried out piece of brownfield land in rural Stirlingshire.

The living areas are raised to upper floor level to provide views across the landscape and access at the rear to a high level garden to the rear of the property. The lower level of the building provide parking, storage and guest bedrooms.

The buildings form was chosen to keep the profile low against the trees which form a backdrop to the house and to provide potential for a green roof to store surface water and to assist the biodiversity enhancement which was part of the promotion of this site.
