If you are planning a new home or significant remodel and want a clear, well-supported process from first idea to completion — we would be happy to discuss it with you.

A short initial conversation is often the best way to understand your project, answer early questions, and see if we’re the right fit.

We design homes.
And ensure they are properly delivered.

Most of our clients are building once.

They want to get it right — and to feel supported in the process.

Our role is to guide that process carefully — helping establish a clear direction early, and remaining involved to ensure it is carried through properly.

Our Approach

A well-designed home is not just the result of good ideas.

It comes from clear thinking, careful judgement, and consistency over time.

We work closely with you from the outset to define the brief, establish a strong and appropriate direction, and guide decisions as the design develops.

We remain involved through construction — because this is where projects are often won or lost.

Why this matters

Many projects fall short not because of a lack of design intent, but because decisions are made too late, or not carried through as intended.

This can lead to a -

  • Loss of clarity

  • Lack of continuity

  • A final result that doesn’t reflect the original ambition

Our approach is designed to avoid this — bringing structure to the process and ensuring the design is properly realised.

The Practice

BHA is a focused architectural studio based in Bridge of Allan, working across Scotland.

The practice is led by architects with over 15 years’ experience in the design and delivery of bespoke homes and significant remodels.

We remain a small studio — allowing us to stay closely involved in every project and provide continuity from first conversation to completion on site.

Working together

Building a home is a significant undertaking.

It should feel clear, supported, and ultimately rewarding.

Our role is to provide that clarity, guide decisions, and ensure the process is carried through properly — from first conversation to completion.
